Vengeance
this was written after we were raped by our sponsor’s sponsor’s husband. (we were going to AA at the time) The first time we got angry at an abuser. (of ours…it is easy to be angry when others are hurt) the majority of us don’t believe in “good ” vs. “evil” and all that stuff. but it is easier to think of destroying someone because they are evil, than it is to think of destroying them because they hurt you.
Eagle talons
Sharp as steel
Rip through your flesh
Making it mine.
Falcons beak
Cold as ice
Seize your heart
Straight from your chest.
As I watch you bleed
Screams unable to escape your lips
Death for you is agony
Just like you made my life.
You have returned to the hell
You detailingly created
The place where you belong-
Food for the animals.
They shred apart
Every last morsel
Nothing but the bones remain
A lasting diatribe
To the sickness you served
A final testament-
The result of good triumphing.
Evil shall perish.
