Wind whispering
like a child crying
a breeze that chills my soul
an emptiness clear to my bones
And I miss you
My child
Hair flowing
Cascading o’er your shoulders
Laughter that rocks you
Pain that makes you quiver
And I miss you
My arms ache to hold you
My lips ache to kiss your brow
My hands ache to wipe away your tears.
Wherever you are,
my dear,
my prayer for you
Is peace
Happiness.

Blood stained tears
From a secret place
Moist and scented
Can you feel the pain
Left behind as a memento
Accompanying the wetness.

this was written for my little brother…he was, for all intents and purposes, my child…we took care of him, guarded him…he meant the world to us. he lived for 6 weeks. after trying to tell someone about the bad stuff, we were forced to kill him. and then we were raped. we were 3 years old.
